How Greek classical art developed from local traditions and from outside influences is examined. The orders of Greek temples are explained.

Learning Objectives:
1) Students will be provided with an overview of the art and architecture of the ancient civilizations that once occupied regions in present-day Greece.
2) Students will be shown how various art styles of ancient Greece influenced each other and students will see how Greek developments influenced later art.
3) Students will receive an explanation concerning the development of the Greek temple and they will learn about the variations among orders of temples. (21 minutes)
