Elena R. Lamont, Nicole S. Le Prohn, Peter J. Pecora
The need is great in the child welfare arena for a comprehensive and coordinated tool to
help with program accountability and to address consistency of service and actual child or
parent needs. The Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL) is a reliable and valid instrument that
has been used for many years. This book was compiled to help other child welfare
professionals after a roundtable of 30 researchers gathered to discuss the CBCL and its
