The distinctive music of
Latin America is a blend of the wind and percussion instruments of native
Indians with Spanish and Portuguese influences added.
Learning Objectives:
1) Students will learn how native Indians and the Spanish became influential
in shaping the music of Latin America.
2) Students will see and hear primitive Indian instruments.
3) Students will see demonstrations of Latin American dance steps.
