He discusses how the behaviors that often lead a person to addiction and criminal activity conveyed an illusion of power, control and immediate gratification. He emphasizes that in order to keep from coming back to prison it is important to accept responsibility for your actions, to develop humility and to be personally accountable for your actions and behaviors. Johnson provides successful strategies for transitioning back into the community.
