the student a clearer understanding of our dependence on a clean
environment. Commercial gases are explored in lesson three and students will
learn how air pressure and gases are used for fuel and in industrial
processing. It also examines the hazards of many commercially useful gases.
With this knowledge, students can move into lesson four which looks at the
effects of gaseous pollutants in the air and what can be done to maintain
air quality. Methods of detecting pollutants and determining mass and weight
