The Teaching Students to Get Along staff development video series offers professional
training in how to reduce conflict and increase cooperation among students. Teachers learn
how to strengthen cooperation, collaboration, and respect among students.
This resource provides:
Tips to stop arguments and fights and resolve conflicts peacefully
Schoolwide strategies to address anger management and bullying behavior
Strategies to create cooperative teams in class
The program contains 10 individual sections on two videocassettes. The program can be
presented in 10 sessions, with one program per session, or in two sessions, first showing
programs one through five, which relate to prevention strategies, and next showing
programs six through ten, which relate to strategies for responding to conflict
situations. The program can also be presented in one session, showing all ten programs
with an intermission between programs five and six.
