The assignment of a grade that genuinely assesses the amount
of learning accomplished by a student has always been a sensitive issue. This program will
help to solve the problem by introducing you to the visual interpretation grading method.
Learning Objectives:
1) Problems with traditional grading approaches will be discussed, including the standard
definition of 'failure.'
2) It will be explained why, though sometimes problematic, the practice of assigning
grades is important.
3) The visual interpretation grading method as a solution to the grading dilemma will be
discussed.
